Thank you for using Weelo! These terms of use ("Terms") apply to your access to and use of the web chat (chatbot) services provided by ROLLAD MEDIA INC ("Rollad Media"), including any software application or related website integrating the Weelo service (collectively, the "Services"). These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Rollad Media, a company based in Quebec, Canada.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Services.

01 Who We Are

Rollad Media provides Weelo, an artificial intelligence-powered virtual assistant (chatbot) service designed to be integrated into the websites of our partner clients. This assistant interacts directly with you via web chat to answer your questions, provide information, and guide you to relevant resources on the website where it is deployed.

The assistant may transmit certain information, including your messages, voluntarily provided contact information, and conversation history, to the systems of partner clients who have integrated Weelo into their website.

In these Terms, "we", "our", and "us" refer to ROLLAD MEDIA INC, and "you" or "your" refers to the person accessing or using the Services. The terms "assistant", "virtual assistant", "Weelo", and "chatbot" are used interchangeably.

02 Use of Our Services

2.1 What You Can Do

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may access and use our Services for personal and informational purposes. When using our Services, you must comply with all applicable laws as well as any other documentation, guidelines, or policies we make available to you.

2.2 What You Cannot Do

You agree not to misuse, reproduce, or attempt to extract the inner workings of the chatbot. In particular, you may not:

  • Use our Services in a manner that infringes, misappropriates, or violates anyone's rights.
  • Modify, copy, lease, sell, or distribute any of our Services.
  • Attempt to or assist anyone in reverse engineering, decompiling, or discovering the source code or underlying components of our Services.
  • Automatically or programmatically extract data or Generated Information.
  • Represent that the Generated Information was produced by a human.
  • Interfere with or disrupt our Services, including bypassing rate limits or security measures.
  • Use the Generated Information to develop models competing with Rollad Media.

2.3 Definition — Generated Information

"Generated Information" means any content, message, response, or other information generated by Weelo in response to your interaction via the Services.

2.4 Third-Party Services

Certain features of Weelo may rely on third-party services that are subject to their own terms of use and for which we assume no responsibility.

03 Accuracy of Information and Limitations

Weelo is powered by artificial intelligence, an ever-evolving technology. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the usefulness of responses, we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or relevance to your specific needs.

By using Weelo, you agree that:

  • Responses are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute a single source of truth.
  • You are responsible for verifying any information before making decisions based on it.
  • Weelo does not provide professional, financial, legal, or medical advice.
  • We are not responsible for any decision made based on the information provided by the assistant.

04 Protection of Personal Information — Law 25

Protecting your personal information is a top priority for ROLLAD MEDIA INC. We fully comply with the Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information (Law 25), as well as the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, CQLR c P-39.1.

4.1 Information Collected

During your interaction with Weelo, we may collect:

  • The content of your messages and questions submitted to the chatbot.
  • Information you voluntarily provide (name, email address, phone number, etc.).
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and interaction details.
  • Conversation history for continuity and service improvement purposes.

4.2 Purposes of Collection

The personal information collected is used to:

  • Provide and improve Weelo Services.
  • Transmit relevant information to the partner client to address your requests.
  • Ensure the security and proper functioning of the service.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

4.3 Consent

By using Weelo, you consent to the collection, use, and communication of your personal information as described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@rolladmedia.com.

4.4 Your Rights

In accordance with Law 25, you have the following rights:

4.5 Retention and Destruction

Your personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Once this period has elapsed, it is securely destroyed or anonymized.

4.6 Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Weelo's infrastructure operates via secure cloud servers in accordance with industry best practices.

4.7 Confidentiality Incident

In the event of a confidentiality incident that presents a risk of serious harm, we commit to notifying you and reporting it to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, in compliance with Law 25 requirements.

05 Transmission to Partner Clients

Weelo is deployed on the websites of our partner clients. By interacting with Weelo on a partner site, you acknowledge that certain information you provide may be transmitted to that partner client for the purpose of processing your request. Each partner client is responsible for managing the personal information it receives, in accordance with applicable laws.

ROLLAD MEDIA INC acts as a service provider on behalf of partner clients and processes personal information solely according to their instructions and for the purposes specified in these Terms.

06 Service Availability

While we strive to make Weelo available at all times, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Access to Weelo may be suspended or terminated without notice in the event of maintenance, technical issues, or updates. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time.

07 Minors

You must have the legal capacity to use the Services responsibly. If you are under 14 years of age, you may not use the Services without the explicit permission of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 years of age.

08 Liability

Certain legal provisions, including those of Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, may limit or prohibit the exclusion or limitation of liability. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as limiting any right or remedy to which you are entitled under applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. ROLLAD MEDIA INC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, to the extent permitted by law.

09 Modifications to Services and Terms

We may update, suspend, or make changes to the Services from time to time. We may also revise these Terms. When we do, we will publish the updated version and indicate the date of the most recent update.

Any changes will take effect 30 days after publication. By continuing to use the Services after the changes take effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using the Services.

10 Governing Law

These Terms shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, including:

  • The Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information (Law 25), SQ 2021, c 25;
  • The Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, CQLR c P-39.1;
  • The Consumer Protection Act, CQLR c P-40.1.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Province of Quebec.

11 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ROLLAD MEDIA INC regarding your use of the Services and supersede any prior versions.
